Hello! Say Romney - Is That a Dog on your roof?
According to a story that came to light in 2007; Mitt Romney, who was going on vacation with his family, put his dog, Seamus, on the car roof for a multi-hour drive to Canada.
Honestly, is this Chevy Chase/Vacation or Mitt Romney? And who can tell the difference (apologies to Chevy). What is wrong with Mitt?
We heard this was told to Mitt reporters/followers to illustrate how Mitt makes good decisions quickly. {No room in the car... hmmm... what goes on the roof? Kids? Wife?! Luggage!?! Dog??!}
Apparently it came down to the luggage or the dog. Mitt chose poorly.
Off-the-record speculation is that Seamus ran away when the Romney family reached Canada. (Of course Seamus did, and anyone with a brain and a heart supports Seamus in his decision.)
If you're seriously traveling by car and bringing your pet, don't pull a Romney. And then you won't burn in Hellll .... ooooo! Start with advice from pet lovers and vets.

Teach your family about home security!
- Ask them to always to lock the door and keep track of their keys.
- Tell your children to never answer the door when they're home alone.
- Do not trust unfamiliar delivery, utility or other people who want to come in your home or look around it unless you have set up the appointment ahead of time and they show proper identification.
- Be wary of door-to-door canvassers. Most legitimate fundraisers carry a solicitor’s permit as well as an office number you can call to verify their legitimacy.
- Lock your doors and windows even if you step outside for just a moment.
Purchasing Flood insurance
One of the most important things that you can do to protect your home and family before a flood is to purchase a flood insurance policy - even if you don't live in a flood-prone area. Flood insurance provides year-round financial protection and improves your ability to quickly recover when severe storms strike and cause unexpected flooding.
